The Ibanez SRF700 Fretless Electric Bass Guitar will take your bass playing to new heights. The neck-through construction of the SRF700 incorporates a 5-piece maple/bubinga neck and mahogany body wings for long sustain and increased tone.

Tones and notes normally reserved for upright basses are available thanks to an innovative piezo pickup system and an enlarged fretboard.

Piezo Level Control

Recessed controls on the rear of the SR Portamento are assigned to each individual string to adjust the loudness of the Ibanez-exclusive AeroSilk Piezo pickup. By altering the volume to fit varied string gauges, you may obtain perfect string balance and response.

Custom bridge for AeroSilk Piezo System

The Custom bridge was designed specifically for the AeroSilk Piezo pickup system’s optimal performance. Unique plastic saddles were created to function in tandem with the piezo pickups to improve the sound’s acoustic “Upright” quality.

Bartolini® MK1 Pickups

The split coil architecture of the MK1 pickups give a very wide frequency range and better definition for optimal accuracy. The Neck and Bridge pickups respond similarly to typical single coils, but without the hum and noise.

AeroSilk Piezo system w/Active tone control

The settings for the Bartolini pickups are combined with the AeroSilk Piezo technology in the EQ section. The Bartolini MK-1 pickups have a Master volume, balance, and bass and treble settings, while the Piezo system has a Master volume and a tone control.

Panga Panga fretboard

Panga Panga features a beautiful wood grain which produces a tight low and mid range, along with a sharp attack on high end.
